LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
Steamship Australia, sailing from Honolulu, Mch 3, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, Mch 10, 1894.
Columns represent: Number, Name, Age, Sex, Married or Single, Occupation, Nationality, Last Residence, Final Destination in the US, By whom was passage paid?, Whether in Possession of Money-if less than $30, how much?, Whether ever before in the US, Whether going to join Relative or Friend

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not 
 included in the table:
 Able to Read & Write=yes 
 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco  
 Whether having a ticket to final destination=yes 
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 
Letters that are illegible or difficult to interpret are replaced by ?.

2 has been to SF 1893.  He is going to join his son, S Papageorge, Cliff House SF.
3 is going to work.
5 final destination is Lockport, Cal.  His passage was paid by E.K. Foote, MD.  His 
   first visit was in 1883.  He goes as a servant.
6 has been to SF.  He is going to join J.R. Collins 15 Eureka St San Francisco, Cal

We hereby submit a small pedigree sheet concerning Charles R Collins.
This report is submitted through our Asst. Director Arthur Koerte, who
made a research on this.  It is interesting to note that his mother, 
Olinda Marin, comes from a prominent family here in Hawaii.  There is
a street named after the family in downtown Honolulu.
