Correspondence 05/09/01 passengers #14 Segner

Peter and Margaretha nee Cabberts Segner came to Texas on the ship "Auguste Meline" and settled in Indianola, Texas..in Dec. 1845..They had 3 daughters: Catherine, Mary and Elizabeth..Elizabeth was my great grandmother who married Thomas Abner DeViney.. I can not find out anything on what happened to Peter or his wife, Margaretha..as to where they died or where they were buried.. If anyone has any information on them it will greatly appreciated!!
Gerri (Voss) Ward Correspondence 07/07/02 passenger #21 Halm I would like information on Johann and Margaretha Halm's descendants, who came over on the August Meline in 1846 to Indianola. They moved their family to New Braunfels, Texas. From there, some went to Kingsbury, Tx. I am a great granddaughter of Lisette Halm, one of Johann's children. She married and moved to Houston. Any help on the descendants who stayed in New Braunfels, Kingsbury, Twin Sisters area would be appreciated. Nancy Stuart Correspondence added 8-31-2006 Passenger 8, PETRI I found my ancestors on the ship AUGUSTE MELINE which sailed in 1846 from Germany to Texas. Captain was named Meyer. Under point 8 there are stated as passengers Petri, Johann Heinrich and wife Elisa, nee Aht, and children Johannes, Jacob, Catherina, Heinrich, Margarethe from Breitscheid, Nassau. I live in Breitscheid and my ancestors were the families of Petri. I would appreciate further information from others researching the same name. Best regards, Hans Becker
