I do solemly, sincerely and truly declare that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the British Barque* Ann Harley whereof I am Master, from __________________. Transcriber's Notes:
The use of a ? indicates a word or letter that could not be read with 
certainty due to quality of the original document or the handwriting of 
the original transcriber.
The use of an * indicates what maybe an error in the original transcriber's 
notes.
* - note that the original manifest spells both Barque and Bark for type 
    of ship.
 1. through 4. Last name may not be McTapny-might be McTapnez or McTapny
 9. Either age as 3 yrs. or going to her husband is an error.
10. Uncertain of the initial of her first name being an "i" and the last 
    name being McKinlay
11. thru 12. Uncertain of the last name being McKinlay
13. Uncertain of the last name being McKay
14. Uncertain that the first name is Janet and her age is blotted for the 
    most part.
15. Strop Presser looks clear and true, but am not sure what a "Strop 
    Presser" was.
18. Haron may be Morgan. Slater, maybe Plater, is an unknown occupation and 
    there is an unknow letter or symbol between it & Plasterer.
19. Age may be 23 or 27 - 2nd digit is unclear.
21. Not certain that the middle name Initial is "G"
22. Not certain that the middle name Initial is "C"
25. through 28. Not certain that the first letter of last name is an "F"
27. and 28. The original transcriber probably switched the relationships of 
    these 2 individuals.
32. Not certain that the first letter of last name is an "S"
34. First letters of her last name are blotted out.
36. Last name may be Harburn or Thorburn.
37. through  43. No occupations or countries are listed.
37. Not certain that the initials are as shown.
38. through 40. Not certain if the title is "Miss"
39. Not sure if 1st letter of last name is an "L"
42. Not sure if 1st letter of last name is a "P" - last name might be 
    Crawford
