by the y (Biddy) in the previous line.
213 Francis (with an i) transcribed as written. The usual female spelling
is Frances, but this may not be an error; My [Scots] g-g-aunt was
Francis Jane.
231 Grahan transcribed as written, but it may be the clerk's error for Graham.
