Brig Active
I, John Hick* do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philad- contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of the Passengers which were on board the Brig Active at the time of her sailing from the port of Bristol or which may have been taken on board at any time since; that I am present, and have been during the voyage, master of the said vessel. And I do likewise swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true.

From Passenger #41 to the end of the list, the listings for Age and Sex were
transposed; they have been transcribed as they were intended.
The Captain's name is John Hick. The surname has been recorded as "Heick"
on a label attached to the manifest.
Passenger #1, the "d" of "Revd" is raised with a line under it.
Passenger #7, "Ustates" sic.
Passenger #8, "Gentleman" sic.
Passenger #30, after the word "Plumber", "& c" seems to be written.
Passenger #41, "Sadler" sic.
Passenger #51, there is a blotch over the first digit.
Passenger #61, there is a blotch over the first digit.
Passenger #61, occupation is listed as miner.
Passenger #67, the age "56" is boldly written over other figures.
Passenger #75, in the Occupation column a word that is possibly "Collier"
has been crossed out.
