Newgate (Prison), London, England to Maryland
departure August 1721

These are to Certify that Jonathan Forward of London Mercht hath given 
Security pursuant to the late Acts of Parliment for Transporting to some 
of his Maat.e Colonies and Plantations in America the 19 sevl persons 
within named who were at the respective Assizes & Goal Delivery severally 
heto -- for the Countyes of Essex and Surry adjudged by the Courts to be 
transported from the Marshalsea Where the Goal for the County of Surry is 
kept and that the said S???? for performing such transportation remaine in 
my Custody Given under my hand this 2nd Augt 1721.
