After to. By Virtue of his Ma.s Gen.l Pres Pat.s Dorm.t bearing Date the 14th of August 1714. These are to Pray and Require Your Lord.s to draw an order for paying unto Jonathan Forward of London Merchant or his assignes the Sum of 496* without acco.t The same being paid in pursuance of certaine Articles of Agreem.t bearing Date the 28.d day of July now last past and made or mentioned to be made between us on his Ma.ts behalf of the one Part and the said Jonathan Forward of the other part For the Allowance of 3* per head for a upon 92 Malefactors who were lying in Newgate in the City of London under Sentence of Transportation and for the allowance of 4* per head for and upon 55 Malefactors who were lately lying in the - Several County Goals of Hertford Essex Kent Sussex and Surry under Sentence of Transportation 131 of which Malefactors were received by Order of the said Jonathan Forward on board the Ship Gilbert -- Darby Lux Commander to be transported to Maryland and the other 16 Malefactors were by the like Order received on Board the Ship called the Owners Goodwill Thomas Apps Comander to be transported also to Maryland as appears by the Several Certificates hereunto annexed, wherein every the Names of these Malefactors are expressed In Consideration of which Several Allowances the said Jonathan Forward agreed at his owne Cost and Charges to Transport the said Malefactors to some of his Ma.ts Plantations in America without any Charge to his Maty for their Transportation Conveying on board or otherwise and hath given Security pursuant to the said Articles for the effectual transporting the said Malefactors accordingly And let the said Order be Satisfied out of any Money in the Rec.t of the Excheg n Applicable to the Uses of his Ma.ts Civil Governm.t And for so doing this shall be Your Warrant. A true Copy of the Convicts and Felons taken from Newgate and Ship on Board the Gilbert under the command of Capt Darby Lux & bound for Maryland Delivered to him on the 17th day of October 1720 by Mr. Jonathan Forward of London Merchant ???? These are to Certify whom it may Concern That ? persons above named being in Number 92 are Reccd by me on board of the Ship called the Gilbert from Mr. Jonathan Forward Mercht to be Transported to Maryland Dated this 27th day of Oct 1720.

Transcriber's Notes: In transcribing I have tried to keep the original case size of each word and spelling of this document and have not changed any punctuation or any known abbreviations. Several words were abbreviated. ats - seems to be "also known as" or an alias *the money abbreviation which looks like a written small e is over both these numbers. I have been unable to find out what these represent.
