Transcriber's Notes:
In transcribing I have tried to keep the original case size of each word
and spelling of this document and have not changed any punctuation or any
known abbreviations.
Several words were abbreviated.
ats = also known as
These ships do not state a date of departure or arrival. The financial
records are recorded from May 1720 to Nov 1725.
First section: Jane could be Jand
		Widgard could be Widgood
Neuman could be Nerman or Herman
This name is difficult as the first letter does not
appear to be like any other. The closest it seems to
be is a P, the hes seems clear, the rest could be
cinot, or cinct. So could be Phescinot, or Phescinct
Black??? writer ran out of room on page and tried to fit
additional letters first ? could be a L
		Therne could be Thane
Furd - first letter is F could be Frird or even Fird
Neuman could be Nerman or Herman

Second section: Fimpson is believed correct, it is not Simpson
                Weldon could be Wetson
		Amid could be Amie

Re: passenger BARKIN, Jane
In the Old Bailey, London Proceedings online, Jane's surname is said to be Barclay.
Her name and several others onboard are mentioned as are their crimes and transporting
sentences.

http://hri.shef.ac.uk/luceneweb/bailey/highlight.jsp?ref=s17221010-1

In the book called Bonded Passengers to America by Peter Wilson Coldham, Jane is
listed as:
"Berkley, (BARKIN), Jane. S Oct T 1722 Forward to Md"

She was probably Jane Barclay, perhaps couldn't spell her own name? Perhaps was
misunderstood when asked her name? There are two ways of spelling Barclay/Berkeley
in England, and both ways are pronounced the same. Accents could come into this,
as well as misunderstandings or even disinterest on the part of the person writing
her name.

Also found in Appendix II that 106 people left on the ship (from Bristol?)
and 7 died on the voyage.

Jane Barclay, in Scotland, at janiebarclay@googlemail.com , is doing research on this
Jane and would like to hear from anyone also doing research on her. She is not related.
