Liverpool, England to Boston, Massachusetts
9 December 1826

DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN – PORT OF BOSTON
I, John Doak, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that the within REPORT and LIST, subscribed with my name and now delivered by me to the Collector of the district of BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex and occupation of all the passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Brig Wade whereof I am at present master, at the time of her sailing from the port of Liverpool or which have at any time since been taken on board the said vessel. And I do likewise swear that all matters whatsoever in said report and list expressed, are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD. (Signed) John Doak, MASTER. REPORT and LIST of the passengers taken on board the Brig Wade of Boston whereof John Doak is master, burthen 260 tons and 78/95ths of a ton, bound from the port of Liverpool for Boston.

Country of origin not filled out for many, but perhaps there are 
ditto marks that are not visible on this copy.

  #7 surname looks something like Haston.
 #11 looks like Wr. for first name, but may be Wm. or Mr.
 #15 age 27 or 29.
 #17 no first name written here.
 #24 no surname written in, but possibly should be Gibby.
 #25 no name at all written here.  There may be a passenger not listed as 
     there is an occupation written in the line for someone who should be 
     only 1-year old.
