There was no sworn statement with the list. There were only 2 lists on this abstract for Newark. The ships' names were not given, though dates of arrival were given.
List of passengers arrived in the District of Newark from Foreign Countries during the quarter ending 30th Sept. 1836.
Columns represent: name, age, sex, occupation, country from whence, country in which they intend to become inhabitants, date of arrival. The arrival date has been listed elsewhere so that column will be eliminated.

Transcriber's Notes:
It was not clear if these passengers were originally from Nova Scotia, 
or whether they had left from Nova Scotia as an intermediate port.

The Collector wrote on the end of the abstract: 
"District of Newark, Collector's office 1st October 1836.
