Hong Kong to Tacoma, Washington
March 29, 1895

I, R. Crawford, Master of the above named S.S. Tacoma from the Port of Hong Kong solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the above List contains the names and descriptions of all the Passengers who were on board the S.S. Tacoma at the time of or since her last departure from the said Port of Hong Kong, or that have been taken on board the said vessel at any foreign port or place and that none have died on the voyage.  ??? Last name of deputy collector's signagure has what appears to 
 be an ink blot on last several letters.

 *Passengers #3 through #11 are from China.  Chinese names tend to 
  follow pattern of writing family name before given name, thus 
  Laurie, Quong, Chun & Lung are believed to be surnames on this list.
