DISTRICT AND PORT OF SAVANNAH
I, Joseph Bouchet do solemnly, sincerely, and truly Swear that the List of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs, for the District of Savannah contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers which were on board the Schooner Phantom at the time of her sailing from the port of Havanna or which have been taken on board at any time since; that I am at present, and have been the only Master of the said vessel; that no passengers whatever, have left, or removed from on board the said Schooner Phantom or have died on the passage since her departure from the said port of Havanna except such as are now particularly specified and declared in the abstract or account herewith. And I do further Swear that there have not at any one time been during the voyage of the said Schooner Phantom since her departure from the aforesaid port of Havanna nor are at this time, a greater number of passengers, than in the proportion of two persons to every five tons, Custom-House measurement of the said Schooner Phantom, And I do likewise Swear that all matters whatsoever in the said list expressed, are to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD. (signed) Bouchet J. Sworn to before me, this 1st June 1820 (signed) Thomas (Illegible) Depy Coll.
