DISTRICT OF EDGARTOWN – PORT OF EDGARTOWN
I, N. W. Johnson, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear, that the Report and List submitted with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Edgartown contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex and occupation of all the passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Brig Orythia, whereof I am at present Master, at the time of her sailing from the Port of St. Johns, NB, or which have at any time since been taken on board of said vessel. And I do likewise swear, that all matters whatsoever in said Report and List expressed are to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. So help me God, (signed) N. W. Johnson. Sworn to before me, this 28 day of August 1833 (signed) H. P. Worth, Coll.
REPORT AND LIST of the Passengers taken on board the Brig Orythia of New Ark, New Jersey, whereof N. W. Johnson is Master, burden* 129 tons and 93/95ths of a ton, bound from the Port of St. Johns for New Ark, New Jersey*.

* This ship was originally bound for New Ark, New Jersey.  
* The word burden as found.  Usually written as burthen on manifests. 
 #10 first name Marg. or Mary.
 #13 could not be certain if there were ditto marks to indicate 
     previous surname Sands, or whether surname was John.
