Transcriber's Notes:

* The use of an asterisk indicates an omission or error made by the
original recorder, or some notation which I wish to make clear through
  further explanation
* The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read,
due to quality of original document
* I have used a dashed line to indicate that part of the original was
not present on the copy from which this was transcribed. The reader
can fill in the blanks with little difficulty, but this is an attempt
to produce a true copy, so I have not done so.
* "l" is writ small and in superscript--an abbreviation of the name Daniel
* The person who copied this list was very rigourous about some things.
female is never capitalized, Male is always capitalized. Males, no
matter what their ages are classed as Labourers. This is indicated
on the original by the use of double tally marks ". The recorder was
at first quite rigorous about writing out names in full, but as the
list goes on, we see the use of Do, meaning ditto, creeping in.
* the listmaker used the abbreviation Do. on the wife's surname
* in the deaths column there is a notation at the top of page two in the
column aligned with Mathew Gaffney's name. 194 with a 2 slightly below
and to the right. A similar notation appears at the top right of page
three, a 19, next to the name of 10 year old Mary Sheridan. I do not
believe that these numerals indicate that the persons died, Instead, I
believe they refer to the pagination of the manifest, which is #194 in
the record of the original listmaker.
* I believe this should read "infant"
