I, HR Parmiller do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Middlesex whereof I am master from Lpool. 5 & 76: Margt could stand for Margaret.
12: Robt. could stand for Robert.
16: The page is torn where the first name is, nothing can be read. It's very dark and
creased where the last name is, only a few letters could be read.
17 - 20: ditto marks show that the last names are the same as # 16.
15 & 33: W^m could stand for William.
35: Cathe^n could stand for Catherine. Spt could stand for Spinster.
39 - 41: Dress M. probably stands for Dressmaker.
51: Cathr^n probably stands for Catherine.
52: Thom^s probably stands for Thomas.
57 & 68: Robt. probably stands for Robert.
67: Ch^s probably stands for Charles.
69 & 91: W^m probably stands for William.
70: Robt. probably stands for Robert.
72 & 84: Th^s probably stands for Thomas.
73: The first name of this passenger is female but the gender is m, this is a mistake
on the manifest, not by the transcribers.

105: There appears to be a letter between the F and the a but no clue except it is a small
letter or the writer just left more space between the F & a
108-112: could be an a or just a streched out u
118: the last letter in Philad is raised
129: They used dittos, not sure she was really a laborer
131: It looks like Martin but it could be Mantin
133-138: It looks like Wearg but it could easily be Weorg
139: At the end of this line it says Met
140: The age could be 21 but there is a tail on the last digit
145: The first letter is either r or c the second h or k and the last m or n.
146: The last letter in Michl is raised
148-150: The letter is either a u or 2 undotted i's, it is spaced a little far apart
but it seems to be a u
154 The s in the first name is raised
155 The m in the first name is raised
162 The t on Carpt is raised
168 The last letter in the first name is raised and looks like a squiggle. The missing letter
in the surname could be an e
169, 186: The last letter in Margt is raised
171: The last letter of the first name is probably y but could be a z. For some reason
there is a check mark in the month column
174: The last letter in Michl is raised
182: The letter is probaly an r but could be an n
183: The last letter is an e or s
186: The age is either 7 or 9
188, 195: The last letter in the first name is raised and looks like a squiggle.
188-191: The letter looks like an s but could be an r.
191: No age given
192: The number is either a 6 or a 1 with an extra line
193,194: It is either an s or an r no clue what the occupation is,
the occupation could be Svt for servant.
203 & 204: C^bt Maker could stand for Cabinet Maker.
214: The 2nd letter in the occupation could be a, the last raised letter n. This
could possibly stand for Captain, not the captain of this ship though. It could
be a sea captain, just travelling, or the rank in the armed forces.
