Schooner Mary Ann
I, Isaac Smith do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that the within REPORT and LIST, subscribed with my name and now delivered by me to the Collector of the district of Edgartown, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex and occupation of all the passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Schr. Mary Ann of Ellsworth whereof I am at present master, at the time of her sailing from the port of Pictou (NS) or which have at any time since been taken on board the said vessel. And I do likewise swear, that all matters whatsoever in said report and list expressed, are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD. (Signed) Isaac Smith. * #4 the word "child" was dittoed for #4 but not for the other children of this group.
* #10 surname could be Keefse, or Keepe. Letter in question looks like p or f.
* #10-12 origin and destination of last 3 passengers was confusing. Information was
not lined up. #10 may be from Ireland or England, going to Upper Canada or New York.
#11 may be from England or America, going to New York or Pennsylvania. #12 probably
from America, going to Pennsylvania.
