Glenmark

London to Lyttelton, New Zealand
18 December 1865

The ship Glenmark, Captain Wrankmore, from London, arrived off the heads yesterday afternoon and was brought up off Gollan's Bay in the evening at half past five.
She made the passage in ninety two days, but owing to adverse weather met with fourteen days ago, she has had a protracted passage in beating up the coast.
On December 3 the ship was but 100 miles to the westward of the Snares; sighted then on December 10 about 1 p.m. The passengers, including several of our old colonists, speak highly of the ship, the captain and his officers. The voyage altogether has been a pleasant one, and entirely free from sickness or deaths.
The Glenmark has a quantity of powder on board, when it is discharged she will move higher up the harbour.
Arrived - December 18, Glenmark, ship, 1313 tons, Captain Wrankmore, R.N.R., from London.
