Last part of the word is clearly "maker", preceded by a capital M, what appears to be an "i" and a "c" or an "e" (the letter is open like an "e", but often the transcriber wrote his "c" that way), followed by "kle". * 32 Andrew Easton: Andrew's age appears to be 4 years and some fraction of a year, though it is possible that his age is forty-something. * 37 John Korvee: Last name is written very lightly. First two letters of last name, Ko, are pretty certain, but following letters are less so. * 56 Ruy A Given: Middle letter of first name is open like a "u", but recorder is a little sloppy, so could also be an "a" or an "o". * 75 Eliza Sweeny: Name partially obscured by name written below. Looks like Eliza, but there is some uncertainty after the first two letters. * 64 Jane McKelvey: Transcriber indicates that sex is male, perhaps in error. * 76 Anne Karnee: Last name could also be Kumee or Kermee. * 119 Rev McGinnis: First name is abbreviated by a capital M followed by a letter or two of superscript. * 126 S S V H ?? Horck: Lots of initials here. The two directly preceding the last name appear to be "Vd", with the "V" being fairly certain, but the "d" possibly being something else. * 133 E A Hewilt: Could also be Hewitt. Only the last letter is crossed like a "t" should be, but there are other instances where the recorder only crossed the second of two "t"s.
