Mayaguez* to Edgartown, Massachusetts
15 December 1831

DISTRICT OF EDGARTOWN – PORT OF EDGARTOWN
I, William H. Brown do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that the within REPORT and LIST, subscribed with my name and now delivered by me to the Collector of the district of Edgartown, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex and occupation of all the passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Brig Ann of Newburyport whereof I am at present master, at the time of her sailing from the port of Mayaguez or which have at any time since been taken on board the said vessel. And I do likewise swear, that all matters whatsoever in said report and list expressed, are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD. (Signed) William H. Brown, MASTER. Sworn to before me, this fifteenth day of December 1831, (signed) John P. Ne??on*, COLLECTOR.
REPORT AND LIST of the Passengers taken on board the Brig Ann of Newburyport whereof William H. Brown is Master, burden one hundred thirty four tons and 32/95ths of a ton, bound from the Port of Mayaguez for Boston.*
Columns represent: name, age, sex, occupation, country to which they belong, country of which they intend to become inhabitants.

Transcriber's Notes: 
* Though not stated on the list, this ship may have been from 
  Mayaguez in Puerto Rico.    
* Was filled out for Boston arrival.
* Collector's name could be Newton.
* #2 by her name was written "his wife".  Final columns for her had 
  horizontal lines drawn through them.
