I, Henry ????????? do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of Philadelphia, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the passengers received on board the Ship Amelia whereof I am Master, from Hamburg. Bicehman* 26 male Cloth Dresser Hamburg Transcriber's Notes: This list was not numbered; numbers have been added by transcriber. * The form on which this was written has "District of New York - Port of New York" printed at the top, with "New York" crossed off and "Philadelphia" written above. * The 6th column, "Country of which it is their intention to become inhabitants," has no entry and is not included in the transcription above. * The 7th column, "Died on the voyage' has no entries and is not transcribed above. * #1-3 are bracketed with "cabin" written to their left. * #1 The "?" letters are too faint to be deciphered, but do not fall below the line or rise above the half line. * #6 "?" could be a T or J or S? * #8 "?" could be S or L? * #13 First name was too faint to be deciphered. First letter could be a "C", last letter could be an "l" -- Carl?
