Transcriber's notes:

* In looking up who was the owners of this ship with the help of Mary Ross
  she found the following for me. The Cope family was from Philadelphia.
* The H is for Henry and the A is for Alfred. in the owners H & A Cope in
  the manifest.
* I take this first note to mean the Captain had signed the Manifest and
  is not the Collector signature.
* #2 Philada Meaning Philadelphia
* #15 Could be Landry Sandry or Iandry
* #18 Could be McCabe or W Cabe or M Cabe
* #28 The second letter is all above line. maybe and 'r', 'n', the same
  with fourth letter.
* From the third passenger on down the Captain has not used ditto's or
  anything like that he just did swirls all the way down both sides of the
  column and in between them wrote G Britain and Ireland in one and U
  States in the other meaning came from Great Britain and Ireland going to
  United States.
* In the occupation column he wrote Laborers and Maidens.
* #37 Macgregor is spelled this way all in one word. Macgregor instead of
  MacGregor.
* #41 Is probably Andrew as it is written And and small n.
* #42 Edm probably Edmound
* #43 Saml probably Samuel
* #45 No name is given in this space just the ditto of the last name and
  the age is given so know that it is ment to be there.
* #47 The could be Elleysworth, Elbysworth, or Ellingsworth
* #50 this being the bottom of the page the Captain just gave out of paper
  and wrote "Le" and could "en" "aning" it looks like six letter after the
  "Le" the last one being below the line like a "g" or ''y".
* To the right side of the manifest where would normally be place of
  passage on the ship the captain left these figures of the total no of
  passengers, sex, and age. Like the Following:

   7 under         5    years    4
  15       5m     10    years    1
   2      15m     15    years    0
   6      15m     20    years    5
  19      20m     25    years   12
   3      25m     30    years    2
   2      35m     40    years    0
   8              40 and upwards 0
   7                             3
 This is all in a different hand writing very legible
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M425, Reel 47.
