2 - 5: These passengers are part of a big group of people who emigrated from
the Munsterland (u Umlaut) area in Germany to the United States. They came from
Burgsteinfurt. More information can be found at Auswanderungen im 19. Jahrhundert,

and Burgsteinfurt. Permission to publish this information has been granted by Wilhelm

3: this passenger came from Borghorst, a community close to Burgsteinfurt. She was the
fiancee of passenger 2. On this trip they travelled as a married couple. Her name
was Catharina Friederike Agnes Lanvers. They married on June 14th, 1846 in Quincy,
Ill. She can be found in the list of emmigrants from Borghorst under her maiden name
(same link as above), click on Borghorst.
4 & 5: these 2 passengers are from Borghorst as well, not Burgsteinfurt.
6: Mohlenpage is spelled with o Umlaut.
12: Mohlmann is spelled with o Umlaut.
63 - 68: Bhuden is spelled with u Umlaut.
69: Mantz is spelled with a Umlaut.
73: Lovensen is spelled with o Umlaut.
74: Dorr is spelled with o Umlaut.
