Left there the sch. Three Sisters, Robertson to sail in 10 days for Halifax;
also brigs Sophia, Bowen of St. John N.B. and St. Andrews, Thompson of St. Andrews; - the mate of the latter vessel had died there; Capt. Thompson was sick, but on the recovery.
The brig Liverpool, Rundell of and from Digby arrived at Grenada April 3 and soon after proceeded to Jamaica.

Chatham had arrived at Bermuda from Portsmouth and would sail for Halifax on or about the 1st June. Passengers on the Pactolus: His Excellency Major General Smyth Lieutenant Governor of the Province of New Brunswick, his Lady and suite; Lieut. Sparks R.E. and family, and Edward M'Swinney Esq.
Sailed - Francis-Freeling packet with the mails for Falmouth.

Four Sons: "Hampton Roads Monday May 5 heard a great report; May 9 - was informed that the Buenos Ayrean Privateer Tantavelle had blown up the proceeded day while at anchor on the Shoe [?]. She left Norfolk only the evening before in company with a brig of 18 guns. - Passed the wreck on the 7th: her bowsprit and foremast just above water; did not hear what number of the crew had perished: on leaving Norfolk she had upwards of 100 men on board."

On Saturday morning 31st ult. fell in with sch. Jane, Capt. D. Ferguson of Liverpool N.S. in the middle of the Bay of Fundy full of water, loaded with potatoes and hay from Horton, bound for Liverpool - took from the wreck Capt. F. and crew.

The brig Caledonia, Keith from London bound up the Bay of Fundy, got on shore Saturday last on Cape LaHave in a thick fog - crew saved, vessel probably lost. She was owned by John Lang & Co. of Port Glasgow.

H.M. ship Alceste, having on board Lord Amherst late Ambassador to the court of Pekin, was wrecked in the Straits of Gasper, Feb. 18th and the crew barely had time to save themselves. His Lordship arrived at Batavia 22d.
H.M. ship Forth arr. at Portsmouth Eng 6th June from Bermuda.
The Sidmouth packet has arrived at New York.
