Contains passenger lists for ships traveling to California between 1848 and 1873. The lists are transcribed from microfilm of the New York Daily Times, the New Orleans Time Picayune, and the Boston Daily Evening Transcript and are available at SFgenealogy.com.

Maritime News of the Day
Copies of New York Daily Times, Boston Daily Evening Transcript and the New Orleans' Times Picayune. Starts with the first issue of the Times, September 18, 1851. When possible, passengers will be linked to the ship they later boarded on the Pacific side of the Isthmus for the final leg of the journey to San Francisco.

    A list of the Mennonite refugees stranded in Harbin, China who were allowed entry into the United States in 1930. There are approximately 250 names included in the 15 ships listed as arriving in either San Francisco or Seattle in 1929/30. The "race" portion lists them as G (German), R (Russian), or H (Hebrew).
