NOVASCOTIAN, Halifax July 19, 1852 Plate 227, Column 3 Brigt. Sebim for Australia The good brigt. Sebim got under weigh yesterday afternoon and proceeded to sea. Her destination is Port Philip. Her passengers were loudly cheered from the wharves - a salute was fired of course from Caldwell's - which elicited hearty responses from the Sebim's decks. Heaven grant them a prosperous voyage. NOVASCOTIAN, Halifax Sept.13, 1852 Plate 299, column 5 Pictou County, EASTERN CHRONICLE Plate 300, column 1- NOVASCOTIAN, Sept.13 -Sept.27,1852,P17,c1- Hfx- The Barque Aurora, Kitchen, master, arrived in this port on Thursday last 2 days from Pictou. During the afternoon she hauled in to M. G. Black's Wharf, and has since been visited by a great many of our citizens. She has touched in here to receive passengers, a few births being yet disengaged. Aurora is a fine looking vessel of between 300 and 400 tons; she will leave for her distant destination early next week. The Aurora sailed from this port on Sunday morning. She calls at Halifax to take in passengers and to complete her furnishings and stores.. Following is a list of passengers, not complete, however, as a number are to go on board at Halifax, some of whose names we are unable at present to obtain. Mr. Kitchen has put on board a supply of pigs, sheep, poultry etc for the use of the passengers, besides an ample supply of provisions of all kinds.
