ISO Birth Mother From Sweden
Maiden Name Sjoholm
My mother was born in Sweden in 1939 and came to the United States in 1959, three years prior to my birth. I believe she was the youngest of ten children. She had a sister living here and was accompanied by another sister. My non-id from Spence Chapin states that she came to the northeastern part of the United States, so she may not have lived in New York except during the time of the pregnancy and birth.
I would love to find her and thank her for the life she gave me. I am happily married with children and living in Colorado now. I don't wish to disrupt her life but if she is open to a reunion it would fill an empty space in my heart.
I found my birth name, Birgitta Sjoholm, through the New York City Birth Index on microfilm. I am registered with the New York State Mutual Consent Registry and have a profile on Facebook.
If you have any information about my birth mother, please contact me. Jennifer
It is our hope that many wonderful reunions will result from this Story Board. However, if you just want to share information and for some reason a reunion seems out of the question, you can still add your story to this website. Your name and email address will remain confidential if you wish.
Peace to you and those you love,
