Served order on Master to send Chinaman to Island Station * Transcriber's Notes: Affidavit at top of page 'from ?' is totally illegible but is no doubt Honolulu " _________" indicates a blank space provided for information which was not filled in. (signed) was added by transcriber to indicate signature. The portion following "Sworn including date 190" was printed on the form but was not filled in at all. In the portion begining "List or Manifest' the date Feb. 15, 19?? is illegible but is 1910. column heading * insular (which dictionary translates as 'one who resides on an island' - next word begins with P but is illegible about 10 letters could end in ion probably "Possession" according to information from another transcriber with similar headings which are readable. 1 * Britian is as spelled on list later spelled correctly in a different handwriting 5 ? letter appears to be a 'c' but could be 'e' * 14 yrs ago could be 1 + yrs ago 6 ? given name looks like Kayeter or possibly Kaipeter. Sex looks like a ditto 9 * family name difficult could be Kebeler, Hebeler, Hebiler or Kebiler 10 ? missing letter probably 'o' or 'a' * Scotlernor is fairly clearly written 4,7,8,9 * the word 'TAX' is stamped after these four names (these four people had recently arrived in the Insular Possession) 11 entire name written in Family name column Chinise is spelled incorrectly * at the end of the immigration inspectors order to Master is a printed stamp which was below this section and difficult to read and not necessarily connected to immigration inspector's declaration. HEAD TA??? ???TER (can't be sure if it is two or three words) No. 237 (the numerals were handwritten)
