I, O. McCarty, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed with my name and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the passengers taken on board the Brig Tornado whereof I am Master from Bermuda.

  #  1 difficult to read could be Turks Islands (but does not look like a t)      
  #  7  could be Mems    
  #  9  could be Inghone    
  # 11-15  shows as ditto marks, listing occupation as merchant ?     
  # 16  could be Hemp  or  Kemp     
  # 17  very difficult to read last four letters     
  # 19  or Fraysier

Correspondence: 6/8/99 Passengers #21,22,23,24, the McCartney's are 
ancestors of correspondent Charles Polnaszek
