DISTRICT OF NEW YORK -- PORT OF NEW YORK
I, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Stephen Whitney whereof I am Master, from Liverpool. Sworn to this Arpil 6, 1846, s/s, so help me God.

Correspondence 02/03/2003 passenger Fitzgerald Mary Fitzgerald was married in New York in 1851 to Michael Ennis. They settled somewhere in Ohio. Mary had at least one son, named James Knox Ennis, who married Amanda Lucrecia Bunting. James and Amanda had seven children, one being Leroy Burl Ennis, twin of Ethel Irene Ennis. Leroy and Ethel Irene were born in Montpelier, Ohio in 1898. Leroy later moved to Detroit, MI and married Evelyn Adams. They had two sons, Leroy Ronald Ennis (Born in 1933) and James Edwin Ennis. Leroy Ennis married Esther Helen Waterman, and had two children, me, Gloria Ennis (Born in 1963), and Brian Ennis (Born in 1964).
