DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, S. E. Foote Master of the Santiago de Cuba do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Santiago de Cuba at Havana from which port said _____ has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. So help me God. Sworn to this 7th April 1879 Before me R ? (rest of signature could not be read)
List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Santiago de Cuba (signature of S. E. Foote) whereof (signature could not be read) S. E. Foote is Master from Havana burthen 1679 76/ tons.
Columns represent: Names, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they everally belong, The country of which they intend to become inhabitants, Part of the vessel occupied by each passanger during the voyage.

Transcribers Notes:    
    
There were no deaths on this passage, therefore the "Died on the voyage"
column has been eliminated.    

Above the word Trader is a word in parenthesis in a different handwriting
which appears to be Merchant.

Passenger numbers were added to aid with referencing.
