St. Johns, Newfoundland to Boston, MA.
12 January 1849

There are no statements from the Captain on these ships landing in Boston, MA in 1849. They are known as the Alien Passenger Lists. The list of passengers only include immigrants. No Americans are listed although they may have been on board. According to staff at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Archives, these microfilms are the only remaining records of some of these ships.

This list is copied verbatim from the microfilm of the original lists at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Archives, Columbia Point, Boston, MA.

Columns represent: Date, Name of Passengers, Age, Occupation, Where Born, Last Residence, Vessel's Name, Where From.

Transcriber's Notes: The copy was extremely difficult to read.

On the original document, the name of the vessel is included with every passenger.

There may be changes later.

As stated above, only immigrants are listed.

Passenger numbers added by the transcriber to aid with referencing.

 2, 4-5, 7-8 Cotter could be Colter
 9     Kenny could be Massy
10     Grean could be Grear
12     Stor???? Could be Horeabe or Horeale
