I, B. A. Bucku? certify that I have examined the List or Manifest produced to me this day as a copy of the original Manifest of the passengers and baggages on board the ship Olimpia (sic) whereof Edward Gray is Master from Havre. In witness whereof I hereunto signed my name this day, 28 November 1836. B. A. Bucku?, Boarding Officer at ? (Transcriber's note: Bucku? dated it 28 November 1836)
Report of Passengers on board the ship Olimpia (sic) whereof Ed. Gray is Master, arrived at the Port of New-Orleans, on this 25 day of November 1836 from Havre de Grass.

? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the
  condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.

*  B. A. Bucku? dated the statement 28 November 1836, though the ship was filed as 
   arriving 25 November 1836.  Could not read location.
*  Havre de Grace spelled as found.

Passenger numbers were added to aid with referencing.

 3  The missing letter is e or o.
 2  The missing letter is probably n.
 5  The missing letter is probably s.
11  Could not read missing letter.  Seemed to be F.
17  The missing first letter is possibly G or S, the next missing letter is possibly c or u.
18-21  The Knolls and Francis Claude shared baggage.
22  The missing letter is a vowel.
24  Missing letter is possibly r or s.
25  The first missing letter possibly T, the last missing letter r or s. There was no other
    name for that passenger.  Gender must have been male, as occupation was carpenter.
27  Could not tell if Ammonu?th was first or last name, no ditto marks.  Missing letter either
    r or s.
28  Ditto written after Elizebeth.  Could not tell if Elizebeth's last name was Schooldrill
    or Ammonu?th. 
29  Missing letter is e or o.
30  Matossi baggage: 6 Trunks, 1 Box, 1 Port-Manteau, 2 night-bags, 3 mattresses, 1 Gun, 
    1 case of Confectioner's Utensils, JNL No 3, 1 Case of ???? for ???????? & making soffles.
33  De Bourges baggage: 3 Trunks, 1 Night-bag, 1 hat box, 1 writing desk, 1 Box, 2 mattresses
    & covering, pillows etc.
38  Bassett baggage: 1 Port-Manteau & 2 Trunks conty. profession ??? Books & Instruments.
42  Gentet baggage: 2 Trunks, 1 Valice, 1 Mattress, 1 Case Wine, 1 Hat-box.  

Correspondence 01/29/02 passenger Grass/Grassman
I believe that Joseph Grass is actually Anton Joseph Grassman, my 
ggg grandfather.  All of this passenger's information matches up 
with the information I have gathered from records and family members.
