I, David Tan Jr. do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear, that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New-York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Manhattan whereof I am master from Liverpool. Transcriber's Notes:   

* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
  the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
  in the transcriber's notes.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, 
  due to quality of original document.
    
* The Age column calls for years and months; however, no months were 
  listed in the manifest, therefore this column has been omitted.
* The last column in the manifest was for "Died on the Voyage".  Nobody 
  is recorded as having died, therefore this column has been omitted.
* Passenger numbers were added to aid in referencing.

 7 The seventh passenger's (Tho?. Dashwood's) first name may be an 
   abbreviation for Thomas.
31 The last passenger's (Tho?. Keigh's) first name appears to be an 
   abbreviation for Thomas.
