Schooner James Edward
Report and List of Passengers taken on board the English Schooner James Edward of Plymouth whereof Richard Hodges is Master, burthen one hundred and thrity two tons and 30/95ths of a ton, bound from the Port of Havre de Grace for the United States port of Baltimore in Maryland.
Baltimore Sept 6 1833 this list containing sixteen persons is the whole number of passengers brought to the Port of Baltimore from Havre de Grace in the English Schooner James Edward under my command, three of whom are under five years of age. Transcriber's Notes:
1. The sworn statement appears on the right side of the page beginning
with passenger 10 and continuing down to passenger 16. There is a line
drawn after passenger 16. The sworn statement only covers passengers
1-16.
2. Below the sworn statement, next to passenger 17, is this note:
"Discharged at Halifax, Nova Scotia at his won request." The are "Do"
signs under this note for passengers 17-53.
3. Below the above note is a circled note stating: "Disregard Do signs"
Initials JMH followed by the numbers 11-18-37.
