Correspondence 10/10/2003 Captain Heron
Hello, My name is C. Heron and I found my answer on the ISTG website. He
was the Captain of the Ship Jamaica departing from the port of Glasgow,
Scotland which is where he resided and arriving at the port of New Orleans
on January 19, 1829. His name was Captain John Heron. I am not quite sure
what his children's names are, but I do know that my Great Grand Father's
name was George Alexander Heron and his son (my Grandfather)'s name was
Louis Oscar Heron and his son (my father)'s name was Ronald Owen Heron
otherwise known as John Heron who resided in Jamaica where I am from. I have
heard about a Captain Heron in the ancestry but I don't know how he is
related. Claudette Heron
