Correspondence 4//8/02 Captain Lovett
Olney Lovett was Captain of the "Romulus"  Havre to NYC , 15 May 1823.   
He was also Captain of the "Huntress"  Hamburg to NYC Jul 12, 1843.  
Olney was married to Emily Whalen and had three children,  James C, 
Caroline G and Isabelle .  He died in 1872.  Dr David Lovett Jordan
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M1066, Reel 52, List 449.
