Transcriber's Notes:
? A question mark denotes a letter or letters that could not be read.
* An * indicates additional information in the Transcriber's Notes.
^ A ^ indicates a superscripted letter.
Names have been transcribed as seen.
Pat. could be the abbreviation for Patrick.
Upper Canada refers to the area that now is Toronto, Ontario.
Families travelling together:
176 & 177.
178 - 181.
182 - 185.
192 - 193.
205 - 208.
209 & 210.
211 & 212.
213 - 221, 214 - 219 seem to be the children of 213 & 214.
226 - 231.
235 - 238.
243 & 244.
250 - 258.
259 - 261.
268 & 273.
274 - 279.
283 - 287.
288 - 295.
307 - 311, 308 & 311 seem to be the children of # 307. Unfortunately the
manifest is very faint at this point, the information in the occupation
coloumn for # 309 can not be read, 310 has the same relationship as 309,
this shows with ditto marks.
315 & 316.
319 & 320.
209: the first name of this passenger could have been Heinrich or Hinrich.
221: the age of this child does not seem right. Her father, James Crisp, is 22,
it seems unlikely that he has a 10 year old daughter. It shows as 10 years
on the manifest though, not 10 months.
248: the 2nd letter is small, the 3rd letter g or y, the 4th letter small.
249: the missing letter seems to be g or y, there possibly could be a small letter
at the end of the name.
250: the name is written McEnerni, the dot on the i could be in wrong place.
253: neices should probably be Nieces.
318: X in front of the name, the reason is not clear.
337: x in front of name, the reason is not clear.
*A partial passenger list was originally contributed by the
great-great-grandaughter of Ellen McNamara.
Note: Ellen McNamara (Maryl's GG Grandmother) and her siblings were
brought to the U.S. by Uncle (Pat McEnerin) after being orphaned by the
famine.
Ellen's father was Michael McNamara and the family was from Tulla, Co Clare.
