SEPARATE LIST OF CHINESE PASSENGERS
Act May 6th, 1882
I, Thos Wallace, Master of the Walla Walla do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of San Francisco, is a full and perfect list of all Chinese passengers taken on board the said vessel at Port Townsend from which port said vessel has now arrived, and they have not landed at any foreign port or place during the voyage, and of all such passengers now on board said vessel, and that on said List is truly designated the names and other particulars, as shown by their respective certificates.

Sailed from Victoria, B.C. June 18, 1893. I hereby certify the above to be correct and that the certificates of Victoria Chinamen have been compared by me with the Register on file at the Customs House at Port Townsend and are found to be correct. (signature)RC Calhoun, Deputy Collector of Customs

Transcriber's Notes:

The first two paragraphs above are printed as part of the form for this list.  The next
 three paragraphs are two separate stamps placed on the body of the page and then completed.

The pages on this film are not numbered so finding a particular ship can be difficult.  
 However, There appears to be a system of numbering the manifests.  These numbers are
 included in the identification of the film and reel numbers below.

The cover sheet for this list has a hand written note and two stamps.  The note is:
San Francisco June 20-93 Respectfully referred to Collector as to the rights  of the 
within named Chinese persons to land (signature) S.J. Ruddell, Dep Coll
Allow landing under Dept telegram of Nov 21, 1888,  (signature) E.B. Jisme Dep Coll.

The stamps are:
 I certify that I have this day landed the within named chinese(sic) persons 
  (signature) WW Presbury June 21, 1893
 Inspector Presbury on identification by _____ (uncompleted blank) land the within named
  chinese(sic) person in accordance with foregoing order (signature) SJ Ruddell June 21, 1893

The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were not included in 
the table:

 Complexion=Yellow
 Color of Eyes=Dark
