Transcriber's Notes:
The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original
recorder.
The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read,
due to quality of original document.
Captain's name may be Scrivner. The last two letters are definitely "er," but the other letters are not easily decipherable.
*No passengers died on this voyage, so the column is omitted.
1 Albert Carse?? may be Carsevo. Labr is probably Laborer.
6 A. ?. Bennett initial may be T.
10 Daniel Cartly? may be Cartlof or Carthy.
11 Chas. E. Fa??? looks like Farrar, Fanas, Farras.
13 Samuel Nath??? looks like Nathan or Nathow.
14 T. Se??le could be Searle.
20 David Smith could possibly be Daniel.
29 *S???? ???ell. Age may possibly be 30; there is a line over the 2.
35 Isa?? Wida?er looks like Widaver. Sl???maker looks like Slevemaker
or possibly Sleveworker.
39 Marks Nil???ky may be Nilowsky or Nilonsky.
40 Me?hard Besof could be Meihard or Mahard.
44 *Carl Kussbanner has a 6 in the "months" column. Inft is probably
Infant.
46 M. H. Ha?????mann could be Halinemann or Hahnemann.
50 *J. Cailey could possibly be Carley
51 *R.J. Impey might be R.I. Impey.
53 James Lenz has a line through the age, probably from a fold in the
paper and the first numeral is indecipherable.
55 *Chas Mi??? could be Minsch or Minod
56 Frances ??tor looks like Wa or We.
57 Wm Spaldin* has a smudge and the shadow of a letter at the end which
looks like a "p."
64 Margt. Addis has a 9 in the "months" column.
71 John Fl?????be is on a fold. It begins with Flar or Flur and then
several indecipherable letters before the "be" at the end.
73 *Frenk Angell is really how the names looks. The third letter of the
first name does not resemble the way the letter "a" was written in
other names.
83 ?or? Tucker could be Cora.
85 Ethel Clarke has a 12 in the "months" column. Inft is probably Infant.
90 He??? W??ght looks like Hesing Wought, although the first name could be
Henry. Last name definitely does not begin with K.
91 *Augus M. Twain could be Angus.
91 Entry for "The country of which they intend to become inhabitants"
has been written in with a different hand, covering the "do" (ditto)
in that column.
92 William B. Gib??? might be Gibson, but letters are misshapen. U.S. is written in the column for "The country of which they intend to
become inhabitants" but in a different hand.
93 Carl Kuhlina?? looks like Kuhlinama or Kuhlinaus.
94 Gustav Kuhlina?? looks like Kuhlinama or Kuhlinaus.
