9/17/99 I found my GGG-Grandfather and his wife and their first 5 children.
William Brown (31) was a block printer who worked in the silk mills of
Paterson, NJ. Euphemia (32) was his 2nd wife. William (9) became a
color mixer in the textile industry. William's mother was Janet McDonald
who died in Scotland. Bella (6) is Isabella Forsyth Brown. She worked
as a weaver in Paterson before marrying Mr. Thomas Wallace Bentley,
a silk business pioneer. Anne (4) is Anne Peacock Brown. She married
the Rev. Richard B. Dilworth, an early leader in the prohibition movement.
Daniel Brown (3) is my missing history that I am digging on. Jean
married Alexander McKendrick and settled in Paterson, NJ. Email to:

Correspondence 07/12/02 passenger Chester
My great grandmother was from Scotland and her name was Mary Chester. I
think this was her family that was on the Caledonia May 13 1867. I know
she moved to Philadelphia' P.A. where she met my great grandfather
John Geddes. I 'm still trying to get information about when he came
over from Scotland. They had 6 children: Jeanette, Margaret, William,
Mary, John, Elizabeth ' my grandmother. My one aunt is named after her.
Her name is Mary Chester Clague. There are two daughters still living
today in New York, Binghamton area. The Chesters are suppose to be
living around the York area of P.A. Anyone that has any information
on my family I would love to here from you at Earlleybird
I would love to get the birthdates any other information I could on
my relatives.
